The Lodge has received a Certificate of Appreciation from Moose International for its Dedication, Commitment and Participation in the 2017-2018 Association Youth Awareness Student Congress.

Would you like to send a message to a friend, neighbor or a loved one? Our marquee is now available for rental (no commercial messages). Contact Glen Densmore (our Administrator) or Bill Hershey (our Governor). for details.

Also don't forget that our pavilion is available for rent throughout the spring, summer and fall seasons, see Glen Densmore for details and costs.

The Nominating Committee is still accepting applications for our upcoming election of new officers. Any member in good standing who wishes to serve on the Board of Officers must submit the required application to the Nominating Committee one week prior to the election, which will be held on April 12th. The following positions on the Board of Officers are open for election: Governor, Jr. Governor, Treasurer, Prelate, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year Trustees. Job descriptions for the positions are posted in the Lodge.

Also, the voting will be held from 12:00 pm until 7:30 pm on the 12th. a Lodge officer will be here to verify voter eligibility and hand out ballots. Please have Your Moose I.D. with you to help speed up the process.

Since April of last year, our membership roles are down by 50 or more members not renewing their dues. If you have not paid your current dues, please make an effort to correct the situation.

Good News: Our kitchen is now operating on a full time basis, Tuesdays, and Thursdays through Saturdays by a real cook, and Wednesdays by volunteers.

Saturday, March 24th: ABATE of Delaware 10th annual Chili Cook-off here at the Lodge - Noon until 4:00 pm.

Saturday, March 31st: Children's Easter Egg Hunt and Party. Please sign up your child include their name and age; sign up sheets are on the WOTM bulletin board in the foyer. Also candy donations are appreciated.

As we all know, Tax Day is fast approaching. To help you lose "The Tax Day Blues" we have come up with a "Solution". On Saturday, April 14th we are holding a Tax Day Blues Solution Party. Come in and win a Two Night Stay at the Fenwick Inn in Ocean City- including Breakfast. We will include a little "Goodie Basket" as part of your prize. Raffle tickets are on sale in the Social Quarters for only $5.00 each, or 3 for $10.00.

Every Monday: Beginners Line Dancing class - 12:30 until 1:30 pm. The cost is only $3.00

Every Tuesday night: Shuffle Bowling at 6:00 pm and Line Dancing at 6:30.

The Lodge is still seeking someone to act as Activities Chairman. If you're interested, please contact Governor Bill Hershey.

A Volunteer Sign-up Sheet has been posted in the Social Quarters, if you would be willing to act as kitchen help or as a server, please sign-up and list the times you can help. Thank you.

Every 3rd Sunday: The Moose Legion Activities Committee hosts a "Card Flop" beginning at 2:00 and running until about 4:00. Our next "Card Flop" will be held on Sunday, March 18th.

Attention Horseshoe Players, Saturday, April 21st: Spring clean-up of the horseshoe pits and surrounding area, followed by a picnic for the workers. Clean-up starts at 10:00 am; the rain date is Saturday April 28th. League play starts on Wednesday, May 2nd.

You will soon be receiving in the mail Cash Bash tickets for our big fund raiser in July. This years tickets are only $20.00 with bigger prizes than last year..
