The Children's Christmas Party was a huge success, with over 25 children attending; each child received a present from Santa. A special thanks to Rhonda (the Elf) and everyone else who helped out.

Due to the combined efforts of the Lodge and the Chapter, five families were provided with Christmas gift baskets.

Also, a special thanks to Lisa Stroud and Nancy Wallett for the beautiful decorations during the holidays and throughout the year.

The Turkey Shoot has been re-scheduled for Saturday, January 14th at 10:00 am.

Moose International has just released a program, effective January 1st thru April 30th, 2017, that waives all first-year dues and application fees for any new or re-enrolled members who are active military personnel or active first responders. The Moose Legion will also waive any first-year dues or fees for active military or first responders.

Double your Moose Rewards, sponsor a new or former member during January, February, March and April and double Moose Rewards will be given, getting you closer to redeeming valuable incentives.

We are once again in need of someone to fill the office of Jr. Governor on our Board of Officers. If you would like to help out, please talk to our Governor, Bill Hershey or our Administrator, Glen Densmore.

Do you have any suggestions that might enhance the Social Quarters experience? If you do, please provide them to Gloria Hartke, the Social Quarters manager for transmittal to the Board of Officers.

Line Dancing Lessons every Tuesday at 6:30 pm, cost $5.00. All are welcome.

Every 3rd Sunday the Moose Legion Activities Committee hosts a "Card Flop" beginning at 2:00 pm and running til about 4:00, The next "Card Flop" will be held Sunday, January 15th. The ladies of the WOTM will be preparing Meatball subs during the event; cost: Small - $4.00, Large - $8.00.

February 9th thru 12th: Maryland Delaware Association Mid-year Convention will be held at the Clarion Hotel in Ocean City, Md.

Mar. 11: 50" TV Drawing @ 7:00 pm
Mar. 17: St. Patrick's Day Basket Drawing.
April 8: Easter Egg Hunt.

Tuesdays: Meatball or Chicken Parmesan Subs. Line dancing lessons.
Wednesdays: 4 piece Fried Chicken dinner - beginning at 2:00 pm
Thursdays: Cheese Steak or Hamburger specials
Fridays: Dinner Specials in the Lodge starting at 4:00 pm
