It is now time for the election of officers for the year 2013-2014. The first nominating committee meeting was held on February 28th. The duties and responsibilities of each officer position and forms for applying the a position have been posted on the main bulletin board. Any questions can be directed to the Administrator. The nominating committee meet on March 14 and will meet again on March 28. All nominations will close and election of officers will be on April 11,2013 at 7PM.

The Lodge is planning an AUCE Crab Leg Dinner on April 27th with the proceeds to benefit the MD-DE-DC home, more information to be updated on times and cost.

As most members know, our video machines are back on line with policies set by the State Of Delaware.

At the special meeting held on 21 February, the members present approved the spending of monies for installation of a new roof on the entire building.

As always, I want to thank all the members that I ask to help volunteer around the lodge. A big thank you to the Breakfast Buffet Crew who come in early to cook and serve a great breakfast. Special note, our Pit Beef sales for donations to Moose Charties and Community Service starts last Friday May 2013. If you would like to help with the Pit Beef Crew, please let me know or see Gilbert Kuhn (it's air-confitioned in the "shack").

Hello Brothers and Co-Workers:

Now that spring is here, summer is right around the corner. I am looking forward to the upcoming Events we have planned in the Pavilion and our Social Quarters for the members - Pit Beef on Fridays, Entertainment on Saturdays, an All You Can Eat Special, Pig Roast and our Family Picnic. Keep an eye on your News Calendar for these events. (They will also be posted in the Lodge.)

Our current Moose Membership Drive will continue through April 30, 2013. So, if you have a family member or a friend who would like to join - let's sign them up. Also, if you know anyone who is a member and not current on their dues, ask them to stop in and see one of the Board of Officers to see if we can work something out and get them back into our Fraternity.

Lastly, I want to thank all of our Volunteers who helped us throughout the past winter and into the spring; especially the Women who have been helping in the kitchen - we could not do it without YOU. Keep up the good work, thank you.

Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with the children's Easter Party and Egg Hunt to make it a success.

We just attended the Academy of Friendship Luncheon to honor our newest Academy of Friendship members: Pam Powell, Micki Sherwood and Mechelle Jones. We were sorry that Mechelle was unable to join us. We all enjoyed a delicious lunch at Cafe 26.

The Installation of Officer's will be held April 28. Please try to attend this meeting to meet and congratulate our newly elected officers. A lunch social will follow the meeting.
